Spring quarter of 2011 ended with a bang. We enjoyed some great food together, many laughs, and even a few tears. We said goodbye to a few friends who have now graduated and moved on and look forward to who God will bring us next year.

1st Quarter Has Begun
We hope classes are going well and you got some good teachers. Things have started with us and we will have our large group meeting "NavNite" again this Wednesday at 8pm in HUB 379.
This quarter at our NavNites we will be focusing on who God is as He describes Himself. Multiple times He says, "I am....." The Bread of Life, Spring of Living Water, The True Vine, etc. We will take a look at quite a few of these and hope to learn more about who God is.

We are excited that a new year is upon us and we are starting up our weekly meetings as well as Bible studies. Please come join us for our first Navnite this week.

A Bit About Us
We are a group of people growing in our faith through deep friendships and the Bible.
Growing in our faith - This is foundational to why we are here. We want to grow in our faith and help others to do the same.
Deep friendships - What a year it has been. Friendships have grown deep through dinners together, road trips, conferences, times around a campfire, and awesome hike to a cave, and sharing joys and struggles.
Bible - It is the voice of God and full of life. Years ago I had no idea how to read it, study it, or hear God's voice. A friend took the time to teach me and I love doing the same for others. It is truth and we value teaching how to study the Word well.

Large Group Meetings
This quarter we will be meeting every Wednesday night at 7:30. The building is very near the hub and is called Costo. We will be in Costo "lower" and will have The Navigators sign by the door.
We will also have Bible studies at various times during the week and anyone is welcome. Please email me and I would be glad to give you more information.

Reality
It is hard to believe that quarter number one is drawing to a close. Some of you are happy with where you are emotionally, physically, and spiritually. But, I am guessing that most of us (if we are honest with ourselves) know that we have room for growth. Our grades di
dn't turn out the way we had hoped. A relationship we were in has been really hard. We partied a little more than we wanted to and didn't pay as much attention to God as we would have liked. We did things that we regret.
The good news is that there is hope and that hope will be satisfied in Christ. Next quarter we will have large group meetings, Bible studies, conferences, fellowship, and discipleship... and the point of it all is to help you draw close to Jesus and experience the spring of living water.
I would like to personally invite you to take some real steps toward grow
ing in your faith during winter quarter. I can also tell you that you will not succeed on your own and we would love to help you. Email me if you are interested in checking us out. You can also check this site later to find out when and where we will meet... but I would suggest the first option. For me it is far to easy to put something off and next thing I know I have forgotten about it or am so busy with other things that I never get around to it. Every year we all pack up and head somewhere with the intention of selflessly loving others. Jesus said that He came to serve and not to be served. So, this year we packed up and drove 7 hours to an underprivleged middle school in Sacramento. We got there sometime after 2am Saturday, slept a few short hours, and then worked all day. We had a blast and blessed many young men and women who are forgotten by most.
